welcome to sweetpea in the garden

A Bit about me
Hello, I'm Lucy, the florist behind Sweetpea in the Garden. For more than 15 years, I've had the privilege of working with flowers and creating arrangements that celebrate the beauty of the natural world. Inspired by wild meadows, cottage gardens and the changing seasons, my designs are relaxed, abundant and full of movement, capturing the feeling of freshly gathered flowers rather than something overly formal or structured. I believe flowers are at their most beautiful when they look as though they've grown together naturally. That's why I love working with seasonal blooms, textured foliage and interesting varieties that bring colour, character and a touch of the countryside into every bouquet, arrangement and workshop. Sustainability is also at the heart of what I do. Wherever possible, I use environmentally conscious materials and floristry techniques, carefully considering the products I choose and reducing waste wherever I can. It's my small way of ensuring that the beauty we create today doesn't come at the expense of tomorrow. Whether you're ordering flowers for a special occasion, planning a wedding, joining a workshop or gathering friends for a floristry party, my aim is always the same: to create something beautiful, memorable and inspired by nature. From my garden studio to your home, thank you for supporting a small local business. I can't wait to share my love of flowers with you. 🌿🌸
